Mr. C. N. Baeyertz, editor of tho "Triad," is selling his collection of pictures by public auction through Messrs. Gualter. Dykes and Co., in conjunction witli Messrs. Win. 11. Turnbull and Co., at the lattcr's auction rooms, Panama Street, next Monday afternoon, commencing at 2.30 p.m. The collection, which is-the result of twenty years' collecting, contains paintings by such artists as C. N. Worsley, 1i.8.A., ]•}. W. Christmas, K.8.A.. Owen Morton, R.U.A., W. Hounson iiylcs, K.8.A., L. W. Wright, Mabel Hill. Dana Gibson, C. H. Howarth, N. Welch, William Greene, etc. The painting of Mt. Sefton, by C. N. Worslcy, K.8.A., is alone worth a visit to tho nailery, the picture being splendidly conceived, and the solitary grandeur of (he mountain most impressive.
