It is officially stated that Montenegro will persist in tho strugglo for Scutari, and will yield only to forco majeure, (Rec. April 15, 11.45 p.m.) ' Vienna, April 15. Russia and Italy havo initiated a proposal to advance Montenegro thirty million francs (about ill,200,000) as compensation for relinquishing lier claims to Scutari. SEA ENGAGEMENT BEPOBTED. Athens, April 14. An* engagement between Greek and Turkish destroyers has been reported. Tlie fight took place at the entrance to the' Dardanelles. Both, sides claim a victory.
