-o Tlio following notices of motion will b'o considered at tlio fortnightly meeting of tlio City Council to bo held to-morrow .ovonliigs— By Councillor Atkinsons "That the following resolution passed at tlio meeting ofvtlio "Wellington City Council, held on April 3, 1913, bo rescinded, viz: That resolutions (1) and (2), passed by the council on March G, 1813, be altered in such manner. as to provide that besides tho grunting of o lease to the Kelburnc Bowling Club of tho area of, ono acre from Section 48 therein referred to, a similar area of Section 48 be granted to tho residents of tho district of Kelburue for a public bowling green and croquet lawn, the said land to bo administered by tho Reserves Committee of the Wellington' City Council." Councillor Shirtcliffe: "That so much of the resolution'of the council passed,on April 3, 1913, as provides that <£530'0f the compensation of dC3182 (paid for the resumption of M'Ardle's lease) be written down each year for a period of sis years, be", and the same is hereby rescinded." Counbillflr Shirtcliffe: "That the compensation (.£3182) . paid for. resuming If'Ai'dlo's. lease bo written down in the list of assets 50 per cent., now, and the balance at'the end of next year."
