Councillor Shirtcliffe: "That so much of the resolution'of the council passed,on April 3, 1913, as provides that <£530'0f the compensation of dC3182 (paid for the resumption of M'Ardle's lease) be written down each year for a period of sis years, be", and the same is hereby rescinded." Counbillflr Shirtcliffe: "That the compensation (.£3182) . paid for. resuming If'Ai'dlo's. lease bo written down in the list of assets 50 per cent., now, and the balance at'the end of next year."
