; 'WEALTH. Taking official figures, tlie Commonwealth '-.wheat crop for 1912-13 amounts to about 88} million bushels, against 71i million bushels, or an increase of about 17 million bushels. New Zealand, on tbe other hand shows a decrease of 21 million, bushels. The yields for Australia and New Zealand for the last three seasons are summarised as follows:— . 1910-11. 1911-12. 1912-13. New Zealand will require to import a littjle, if the estimate of 5J million bushels is correct.
