' —; _ . INMATES PANIC-STRICKEN. By Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright New' York, April 13. Convicts at Lansing, Kansas, fired the prison buildings in an endeavour to escape. Women and criminal lunatiog in the prison became frantio at the 6ight of the flames, and fought the warders, who forcibly dragged them out of their cells and removed them elsewhere., ! Six hundred convicts acted as volunteer firemen. Many persons were injured, and the prison was. partially' destroyed. '
