DOCTORS PREDICT' RECOVERY. By Telegraph—Press Association—CopyTighi Rome, April 13. The Pope's physicians, though declaring that there is no immediate danger, admit that the disease is making steady headway. Tho bronchial oataxrh is extending towards the lungs. ' The "Osservatoro Romano," tho Vatican's official organ, says the fever stopped on Wednesday last, but returned on Saturday in aggravated.form. The'fever has since, however, slightly abated. Later. It is officially stated that the Pope passed a tranquil night. The fever has diminished,' but tracheal and bronchial symptoms persist, especially on the left side.' The kidneys are working well, and His Holiness's general condition is satisfactory. The physicians are convinced that he will recover.
