■ — INDIGNATION-IN TOKIO. I By Telegraph—Pr«ss Association—Coryrichl (Rec." April 14, 11 p.m.) Tokio, April 11. Japan has protested against California's anti-Japanese legislation. The irritation in Japan is growing. One party proposes an anti-Californian boycott. .The newspapers describe the Bill as great a breach of . treaty rights as the Panama Bill. The Tokio Chamber of Commerce has cabled to. the Chambers of Commerce at San -Francisco and Los Angeles emphasising the probable loss of trade. The foreign press dcclare that the situation should ,be an object lesson-to Japan, where foreigners are not allowed to own land, despite tho Diet's law of .1910, which has not been promulgated.
