TO-DAY'S DINNER.
[Specially Written for The Dominion.] ; TUESDAY. l'oa Soup. Boiled Leg of Mutton. Carrots. Turnips. Parsnips. Potatoes. Parsley Sauce. Baked Cottage Pudding. Sweet Sauce. PEA SOUP. Half-pound split peas (soaked overnight), half a carrot, half a turnip, 1 stick celery, 1 onion, loz. dripping, 1 quart stock, 1 quart water, pepper and salt, dried mint, half-pint milk. Wash the peas and soak overnight in the quart of water j prepare the vegetables, anil cut in slices; strain the water from the lentils, keeping it on ono side; melt the dripping in a saucepan, add the lentils and other vegetables, and toss them into it.: pour on the water in which tho lentils were soaked, add salt, pepper, and mint, anil bring to the boil; simmer till tho vegetables aro cooked, stirring frequently; this will take three or four hours; when cooked, pass the soup through a sieve; add the milk and repeat; serve with sippets of fried breads FOR TO-MORKOW, Liquor Mutton ivas boiled in. 2oz. Grated Chocolate. 1 Ox Tail. Defiance Butter. All Grocers.*
