' ' Marton, April 1!, At tho annual meeting of tho Maliawatii Acclimatisation Society, Dr. Peach stated) that the best fishing stream about tlio, district was at l'ohauginn, but some forty or fifty, shags wero making their living out of it. Somebody remarked that thero were mollyhawks in that district. It was generally agreed ithat some good might be done by offering a reward for the capturo of shags, and somo of those present suggested a reward for the discovery of the shaggery, which is reckoned to'be in some hitherto inaccessible part of (he Pohangina Gorge. "I counted 30 shags in tho Pohauginoj tho other week," was olio man's experience. "I liavo seen mollyhawks catch fisl\ weighing up to thrco pounds, and pick out tho eyes and gills and leavo tho rest," said another..
