HAILSTORM AT WAIROA. (By Tclsjraph.—Press Association.) Wairoa, April 9. A howling galo has been raging sines Saturday, with a heavy hailstorm yesterday. . Tiie galo shows signs of abating, and no damage is reported, and the harbour works arc not affected, except for some filling washed away from the extension tramline at the quarry. . MOKOIA PASSES ON. Gisborne, April 9, The rough w-eather continues. The Mokoia, from south, was unable to work tilt port'to-day, and proceeded on'her voyage to Auckland without communicating. Heavy sens are raging along Ihe coast. At Waipiro Mrs. Jlills and family had to de.-:ert their home, as the seas were washing right through it.
