PLURAL VOTING.
BILL READ A FIRST TIME. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Rec. April 9, 10.30 p.m.) London, April 9. Mr. Pease's Bill, abolishing plural voting at general elections, was lead a first time in the House of Commons, tho voting being 30:1 to 177. One clause in the Bill imposes a penalty of J!200, or two years' imprisonment, on persons voting more than mice.
