[Specially Written for. The Dominion.] ' THURSDAY. White Soup. Shepherd's Pie. Pumpkin. Potatoes. Stewed Pearg. Semolina Pudding. SHEPHERD'S PIE. lib. potatoes, loz. butter, 1 tablespoon milk, for mashing, Jib. cold minced rnutlino with potatoes pour in tho meat mixJ teaspoon popper, i pint water, a little tomato sauco for flavouring, if liked, also I'dessertspoon chopped herbs, or of shallot, if preferred. Miuco tho meat finely, mix it with flour, pepper, and salt, herbs, and sauce. Put all into a saucepan, add the water, stir it over tho lire till it boils, then cool gently for 5 minutes. Whilo cooling mash the potatoes with tho butter and milk. Heavy ready a greased pie-dish, line with potatoc; pour in tho meat mixture, cover with more potato; ehapo the crust nicely, and glaze with yolk of egg. Bako in a moderate oven 15 to 20 minutes.
