DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORTS.
CLTTE.K AND CHEESE INCREASES. I'IGURES TO MARCH 31. Up to March 31 a. total of 373,128 c_wt. of butter has bec'u exported from New Zealand this season, ot v an increase of 1510 tons compared with tho corresponding period last year. The bulk of the butter has gone to Great Britain, which took 303,517 cwt. Vancouver is second to Great Britain with 52,980 cwt., and then comes South Africa with 13,G1G cwt. A total of 2311 cwt. has been exported to the Islands, and Australia has taken 338 cwt. As might have been expected from the figures published from time to timo during tho season, the export of clieese this year has assumed very large proportions. Up,to March 31 last year, 5U,093 cwt. of eheeso had been exported, whilst up to the same date this year tho figures read G18,5G8 cw(., or an increase of no less than 101,.175 cwt. Willi tho exception of SO tons, tho whole of the checso was sent to Great Britain. •The exports for all ports, and the comparative figures for last year are:— Butter. Ch'Ecsc. Cwt.
