PROFIT FOR THE YEAR, By TolceraDli—Press Aflsoetation-OoDyrioht Sydney, April 7. Tho second annual report of tho Greater J. D. Williams Company shows that the net profit, after deducting all charges and doubtful debts, was ,£22,081. From this .£13,537 was deducted to pay an interim dividend in August last, leavfng balance .£OMO. It is proposed to transfer .£OOOO to tho reserve, to provido an additional .£SOO for doubtful debts, and to carry forward the balance of J22GJG. The reserve is now at <£IQ,OOO. Tho directors aro optimistic regarding the future, and iook forward with confidence to tho resumption of dividends as soon as returns aro forthcoming from tho company's interests in amalgamated concerns.
