An explosion of ammonia ased in freezing caused a firo at tlie Blanco, meat freezing worts, which wero completely gutted. It is estimated tliat the English underwriters lost .£IOO,OOO, and possibly double that. (Rec. April fl, 5.5 p.m.) Buonos Ayresi April 5. Although the export of mutton'at the Blanca Company continues, the export of chilled beef has been suspended. Tko loss of buildings is estimated at .£BO,OOO, and of meat at £10,000. It is the old meat works which were destroyed, the new' not being affected. )
