WRECK INQUIRY.
MASTER'S CERTIFICATE-StIS-MINDED. By Telegraph—Press Aisociation—Oopyrieht I London, April 4. Tho Board of Trade judgment in the case of the steamer Veronese, wrecked during'the gale off Leixoos, Portugal, in January last, found that the wreck had been due to tho negligence of the master, Charles Turner, whose certificate was suspended for six months. The Court was satisfied that overy effort had been made to save the lives of those on board, and that allegations as to pillaging were exaggerated. [Tho disaster to the Veronese occurred during a gale, and the vessel became, a total' wreck. She had on board 112 passengers and a crew of 92,191 being saved.]
