(By Telegraph.—Spcoial OorrcsDondent.) Masterton, April 4. It is anticipated that the Land Purchase Board has recommended tho purchase of Mr. A. J. Stoue-Wigpr's Poro - Poro Estate of 3707 acres, and 5000 acres of the Brancepeth Estate. A definite announcement will bo made after the meeting of Cabinet. Mr. J. Lomas, Superintendent of Work-' crs' Dwellings, visited Masterton' to-day and inspected certain sites that aro under offer for rural homes for workers. It is anticipated that one of theso sites will be purchased almost immediately.
