The WairaTapa Auttimobilo Association hold an opening "run" on Thursday to Pigeon Bush, Mr. Tringham having kindly granted, tho. use of his property for the gathering. Owing to the threatening weather a numb:r of motorists were prevented from attending, but tho assemblage was representative of all parts of the Wairarapa. Various competitions wero held, and afternoon toa was provided. It is understood that similar outings will tako pltico in other parts of the district. Tho Featherston Literary and Debating Society will opea its fourth session on April 15.
