Richard Anderson, a member of the club, who is about to leave New Zealand. Another small presentation (in the shape of an oak butter dish) was made by tho chairman oil behalf of the club, this time to Mr. Brewer,. custodian of tho Newtown Park, in appreciation of his services during the past season.■Mr. R. Murphy, who obtained the best batting average during the season—lilwas presented with Mr. f&muel's trophy, an engraved bat. Mr. 11..I 1 .. Russell, who. obtained the .best bowling average—7.7— for the season, was congratulated on his performance. ■ Musical items were contributed. by Messrs. F. Samuels. J. Wilkinson, and E. Bolton.
