G. T. Davis. . The subject was "Tho Pocket Testament League." Tho advantages and genera} scope of the league were pointed out by Mr. Davis in a very interesting manner. Dr. Chapman took his text: from St. Matthew . xxvii, 22, "What .'shall I do then with Josus?" He said the words wero spoken by. the Roman Governor Pontius Pilato when he wished to liberate Jesus in accordanco with tho custom of releasing a prisoner oru that day. Dr. Chapman wont on to show that the question "What shall I do, with Jesus?" was applicable to all Christians, and 110 put tho question, "What are you going to do with Jesus?", "Are you going to l'ojcct Him?" 110 said that everyone' must decide whether I hey were going to bo followers of Christ or iiof. Half measures were of 110 use. If one was going t»i bo. a follower of Christ, then he must bo prepared to take up his cross and suffer as Christ did. . ' ' . At tho conclusion of the address Dr. Chapman conducted an after-meeting, to which a largo number of peoplo remained.
