PETONE JUNIOR CLUB.
- The report aiyl to be presented at the annual general meeting of the Petoue Junior Club, to be held' this evening, shows that the roll of members lias decreased during the past year, but, nevertheless,- the 1 club has' had a most: successful twelve'months. Various tournaments were held, and the social even--irigs promoted by'the executive were a great success. - The club library is in a very satisfactory condition,' and li number of new books havo been added. It was to be ,regretted that so,little enthusiasm was shown in the athletic sports, and the committee appeal to members to support this branch. The balance-sheet shows a credit .of i!3O, and the club's assets are'all in a; sound condition. . The report thanks Messrs. Taylor (2), Palmer, Cairns, Hardliam, Hancock, Croft, and M'Kechnie for donations.
