Sir,—The municipal handicnp is announced, and now. .is the time to sort thorn out: the political candidate, tho grafter, the councillor who does.'valuation work, and'such-like, under tho guise' of public ,benefactioiis. I have in mind tho -ICarrollVtea".rooms incident, the theatre repairs extension's, the Fish Market, and other items of personal more .than public benefit; and .intend ,to Rive short shrift to all aspirants (Mayoral or, otherwise), who have tho slightest connection with tho George Washington hatchet.
