Lands already advertised by the Government for settlement during the month of April aggregate 15,0i5 acres, in vnrious parts of tlio Dominion, Lauds already, advertised for selection during May, in Auckland, Taijanaki, and Southland, aggregate 14,(it!l acrps. lioth the totals mentioned will bo siipplompnted, there being further lands for settlpmeht, in the monlhs named, which have not yet been advertised. The land to be opened in April includes ten rural sections in Wellington province, aggregating 5117 acres. This land will be thrown ojien on tlio optional system, It is situated within six miles of u landing place 011 tho River. The sections will average nbout 500 acres, and each will support a settlor.
