"MOLLY BAWN." ■ 1 "Tho Wearing of the Green" was performed for the last time last evening by the 'Allen Doone Company at the Opera House. Tho company will, appear this evening in an Irish play, entitled "Molly Bawn, in which Mr, Boone has already appeared in this city. It concerns an irascible old lord, whose last days are 'tormented with the idea 1 that , the peoplo around him are anticipating his death witll a hope that it may benefit |them,, the secret intrigues of a wicked niece to secure for herself and. her cousin, whom she loves/the fortune which the querulous old man is to leave to someone, and his deliberate murder by the niece. When the will is read, it is found that her crime was fruitless as far as she was, concerned. These are the chief elements in "Molly Bawn." Mr. Doone delivers thej famous speech of the Irish'patriot, Robert Emmett, effectively during the ballroom' tteenei. Mr. Boone's list of songs •will inclndo "Molly .Bawn," "Asthore," "Molly's Eyes are Irish, and the patriotic ballad, "A -Toast to Erin."
