' CONSTABLE SHOOTS HIMSELF. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Hamilton, March 27. Constable' Dandy, in charge of Taupo, shot himself with a revolver last night. No reason is assigned. , Ho leaves a widow and young family. [Police Commissioner Cullen was advised yesterday of Constable Dandy's suicide. The deceased Shot himself in the head with a military rifle. He was at 'I'oka-anu with Sergeant Eales, and they proceeded to the station to inspect the books. Constable Dandy went into a shed, and as he did not reappear- Sergeant Ealos searched for'him and found his dead body. "At present," added the sender of the commissioner's message, "there is no apparent reason for the suicide."] TRAMCAR ACCIDENT. .Maurice Sullivan, a married man, living at Tinakori Road, was admitted to tho hospital last night suffering from a cut on tho forehead, which he received through falling when boarding or quitting a tramcar.
