FRIENDLY. SOCIETIES AND B.M.A. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, March 25. iThe inquiry concerning the administriition- of St. ltelens Homo will resume tomorrow morning. Tho chairman (Mr. C. C. Keltic, S.M.i h«s received tho following communication from Mr. 11. Roads, secretary of tho L'nited Friendly Societies' organisation:—"Jiy resolution carried at tho annual meeting of the Aucklifnd United Friendly Societies' Dispensary and Medical Institute, held last evening, 1 was directed to forward you copies of, and: clippings from, newspapers'of various dates, having referenco to tho • question of ostracism, etc., of our medical officers by tho B.M.A. (British Medical Association.', I am also requested to inform' you that "some of tho older members; of our General 1 Committee, having knowledge of tho trouble from its commencement between the U.M.A. and my society, aro willing to give evidence boforo you, if thought .accessary,. I may say that our dispensary is. rcpiesentuiiil' of the Friendly Societies of Auckland city and suburbs, and at the present .time consists of about 3850 members, belonging to 29 branches of various societies. Attention is also called to a circular signed by the secretary of tho 8.M.A., and issued oil June 1(1, 1903, dealing'with tho subject at issue." When tho inquiry resumes to-morrow morning, Mrs. Nicol. will urge "the calling of witnesses named, on the ground that their evidence will have a direct bearing on what is known as the Chamberlain case. : . ■
