On Thursday the parcel*; delivery counter at old Drill shed, Magimiiity Street, will be open from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m. All city receivers will bo cleared on Thursday afternoon at 6 p.m., and those -in Wellington South, Kilbirnic, and Jlataitui at 5 p.m., oleo suburban onos at 4.30 p.m.; the midnight clearances will be made ae usual. On Good Friday mails arc not expected to arrive from outside the Dominion. On Saturday, 22, letter-carrier will make two full deliveries, closing at the Chief Port Ofllcc at 7.40 a.m. and 1.40 p.m. On Knttfcr Monday the Po«t OHico will bo open in all its 'branches (except tho Money-order Department) from 9 to 10 a.m. Mails by steamers sn.iliw? on that day will close at 8 a.m. The only dispatches by trains will be for the Wairnrapn, Manawatu, Wangonui, and Taranaki districts, closing at 6.30 a.m.; and for Hawke's Bay and Auckland, closing at 8 a.m. There will bo no day clearance of tho city and suburban receivers.
