THE BY-ELECTION. A by-election was held yesterday to fill extraordinary vacancies on the Upper Ilutt Town Board created by the resignations of Commissioners G. Benge and AY. Burrell. The following is the result of the polling:— Thomas E. Edwards 113 Herbert A". Bengc 131 Phillip David Davis 123 Herbert Shaw r 11l Informal votes It Messrs.'Edwards und Bengo were, therefore, elected.
