Tho engineer supported the Mayor, and added that tho only 'benefit would bo to sorters. The building would not be suitable "for ''such an' important mail centre. The Mayor remarked that he was very disappointed, but he thought that 110- ' thing oould be done. Councillor List suggested that the building, when alterations wero" completed, nould "do for Kaiwarra." _ A special meeting of the Hutt River Board will be held to-night for the purpose of -discussing tho question of the 'recently rejected. £2000 loan.
