[Specially Written tor The Dominion.] TOESDAY, Onion Soup.' Colonial Goose. Potatoos, Cabbage. Blackberry and Apple Pudding. Cream. ONION SOUP. Sis large whit© onions, 2oz. butter or dripping, 2oz: cornflour, 2 quarts water, 1 pint milk, sait and pepper to taste, croutons. Peel onions, and cut in slices from root tu cI'OWU. Make the fat hot, and fry the onions without discolouring; add the water, salt, nud pepper, and simmer gently till soft. Put through a sieve, and return to saucepan. Blend tho coinHour .with- a little cold milk, and when tho soup is boiling stir it in, and cook tor a minute; add the rest of the lliiik, and more;seasoning if necessary; bring to the boil, and serve with croutons. ' FOR TO-MOEROW. ' Macaroni. Stock. Oiie rabbit, jointed, and soaked over-night in salt and water. Apples. Pastry, Defiance Butter Is. Id. per lb. All Grocers'
