ANNUAL REPORT. The ' report, to be presented at the-twenty-seventh annual meeting of tho Waikato A. and P. Association states that during the past year very largo additions and improvements, haye been mado to tho 6howgrountls and buildings. A sum of over ,£2soo'was spent on these improvements, which were .' needed, and which the increase in receipts -under tlio heading of gates and stands show were fully justified; The South AucklandRacing Club are paying half the cost of these improvements. A considerable sum has also been spent' in filling, levelling, and draining a portion of the grounds, the Hamilton Polo Club having assisted towards this, and the association will receive a revenue from tho various sports clubs; for tho use of tho.ground. The revenue for the past' year shows an incrrase in gates and stand .of 155., members' fees. iE'B3 155., donations ,£99 165., privileges -228 ss. fld., as compared with last year, and after making provision for bad debts, depreciation on buildings' ,£lO9 is., on effedta on shoiv grounds- .£5 15s. 5d.. furniture £1 2s. 9d., the revenue account shows a surplus of «£2E)O 7s. 4d. wliich tho committee consider t'o be very satisfactory.
