EXAMINATION WORRY.
1 SUICIDE AT CHRISTCHUHCH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association!) Christchurch, March 14. Worrying over his examination is said tn ir.ivr been the cause of the suicido of William Wadluun last evening. Deceased, who was employed as sjoreman at Uio Chief l'o4 Office, was last seen alive at about 5 p.m. last evening. This morning at If) a.m. he was fomid in the po«t office (lead. By his side was a. revolver containing three loaded cartridges and an exploded one. • From what can !>e ascertained, deceased shot himself in the mouth, on the («)> story of the building, by the mouth of the lift, and then fell three stories to the jjottom, cutting his head and chin in his fall. He apparently had. placed a small wiro rope round . his nock prior to Uio firing of the shot, as a small piece of. rope was under his body when found, and the other part was attached to the top of the lift. ... Deceased appeared to have been in his usual health, but had been worrying about his examination,. and ho had been talking in rather a silly way, saying that funny feelings were, going over him. He had also mentioned committing suicide, but his mates took little notice of his remarks. '
