Tlie Anglican, midday mission services wero continued yesterday. The Hev. H. Watson, vicar of Masterton, gave tho address to men in tho Concert Chamber of tho Town Hall. Tho subject was "Sin," his remarks being based on tho account of tho Crucifixion in St. Luke's Gospel. Sin had its consequences to the, Saviour as well as to tho sinner. It spoiled God's pLan. Tho consequences of sin wero expressed in the words—"Tho Wages of Sin is Death." Tho Cross was a monument to man's sin, but it was also a monument to God's forgiveness. How many peoplo there wero in New Zealand whose life was in no wise distinct from that of tho pagan. To such men tho Cross waa offered as tho symbol of forgiveness, just as it was tho monument of tlio sin of indifference and cruelty among the peoplo who crucified Christ. Tho women's services were again well attended. Tho addresses were given by the Bishop of Wellington, and tho Eev. R. Young, Carterton. It was announced that the address at the monthly meeting of the United Guild of Intercession in St. Paul's Pro-Cathed-ral at'B o'clock t.o-niglit would bo given' by the Eev. H.
