GREAT SHRINKAGE IN, NUMBERS. By Telegraoh.—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. March 12, 0.50 a.m.) Sydney, March 11. The Stock Inspectors' reports indicate that last year the drought seriously affected the State's flocks and herds, and estimate that at the end of 1912 the sheep totalled (i,000,000, the cattle over a quarter of a million, and the horses 11,000 less than at the end of the previous year, Saturday's storm caused a great mortality in tho drought-weakened dairy herds of the South Coast districts.
