WOOL, HIDE & TALLOW SALES.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., roport as follows:—We offered a pood catalogue of wool (in bags), 6kins, hides, and tallow to a'full attendance of buyers, who competed keenly for everything offered. Wool sold on a par with recent sales, and skins sold well at late rates, while hidcu showed a decline of 3-Bd. to }d. per lb., in sympathy with oversea markets. Wool (in bags): Hough crossbred, B*d. to 9d.; lambs. to Sri,; lambs, seedy, 4Jd. to 6(1.; slightly seedy, 7d. to 7Jd.; crossbred, black, 7id.; nieces, 6Jd. to 7£d.; dead, B^d. Skins: Crossbred, fine, 9d.; crossbred, medium, BJd.; crossbred, coarse, BJd.; halfwools, 7id.t ouarter-wools. 6?d.; dead, 7d. Pelts, Is. °d., to &s.. to 2s. Bd. to 3s. 2d. Murray, Hoberts and Co., Ltd., report:—Our catalogue comprised 6V(jt) sheepskins, SOU hides, and 51) bales of wool, besides a large quantity of bags of wool. The attendance oi buyers was large. Prices for wool and sheepskins were fully equiva-. lent to last sale, and any change was in favour of sellers.. Hides receded somewhat LVom the very high level established last sale, and may'be quoted id. loivei: lor ox. and 3*Bd, lower for cows.
