MOTOR-CYCLE RELIABILITY TRIAL.
Yesterday morning at C.30 tho first contingent: of competitors in a motor-cyclo reliability trial was sent oft to Palmorston North, the eml of the first day'srun. Today the riders will return to Wellington via Saiulon, Foxlon, Shannon, Mid Levin, a total distance of 280 miles, 'i'lio petrol consumption test will be on Hie run from Waikanau to Wellington this afternoon, and the hill-climbing test will be on the l'aekakariki llill. The competitors are expected back in AVellington about G p.m. to-night. Tho following were the ■starters in yesterday's run:—T. Kuril ('2'] h.p. New Hudson), H. Dimmer, C. S. JVcs (2j h.p.
