The report of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, .Ltd., for tho year to September 30 last, states that., after paying all expenses in London and Now Zealand, interest on debentures, and a bonus to the staff, and making full provision for bad and doubtful debts, and depreciation on premises, plant; etc., tho balance at credit of. profit and loss account, including the amount brought forward, is £52,666. From this an • interim dividend of Is. 6d. per .share has already been paid, and it is proposed now to pay a further dividend at tho same rate, with a, bonus of 23. per share, both free of in-oome-tax, making. 121 per cent, for tho .year; to add £15,C00 to the reserve fund, making it £195,000; and to carry forward £12,666. Tho directors state that during the past year the business of the company has progressed on satisfactory lines.
