The competition was for tho Robinson Cup, the championship con-l sisting of 100 yds., 220 yds., and 440 yd;., but as the 100 yds. distanoe and 220 yds. were ■won by ono competitor tho d4oyds. distanoo was not run. Tlio results word as.under:— 100yds.—R. Thompson (4yds.), Is H. Jowett (Iyd.), 2; D. Wilson'(6yds.), 8. 220yds.—R. Thompson (12yds.), 1; D. Wilson (15yds.), 2; H. Jowett (scr.), 3. LEAGUE FOOTBALL. The annual meeting of tho Lower Hutt League Football Club will bo held this evening, when tho repoH and balancesheet mil bo discussed and officers for tho ensuing year elected. HUTT PARK '4ND TROTTING. A special meeting of the Hutt Park Committee will bo hold this evening to discuss tho offer of renting tlio park to the Hutt Valley Trotting Club for racing purposes.
