OLD MAN AND T&E MOTOR. ' (By Telegraph.—Press' Association.) Auckland, March 3. An old mail, Frank M'Gann, living ljy liim&elf in a small hut on.the slopes piMount Eden, was knocked down by a taiicab on Saturday night ill Kliyber l 3 ass Hoad. The driver did not see him until ho suddenly loomed up in front of the car, being struck by the vehicle. The driver swerved smartly to the right in an endeavour to miss the man, but failed, tho car catching him and carrying him across tho roadway on tho front of tho motor. As it stopped, M'Gann fell on to tlio roadway, dead. Ito leaves a grown-up family, all married. HEART FAILURE. ■ Dr. M'Arthur, S.M., hold, an inquest yesterday concerning tho death of Frank James Caw, who died suddenly on Sunday. The verdict was that heart failure was tho causo of death.
