NATIVES PLOT A MASSACRE.
GERMAN NEW GUINEA INCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rcc. February 28, 8 p.m.) Melbourne, February 28. A Mclbournito who has returned from a visit to Goiuian New Guinea relates a hitherto suppressed story of a nativo plot to massacre tho German male residents of Friedrich Wilhelmslmvon, numbering sixty, and the apportionment of their wives and daughters among thirteen chiefs. Tho local chief informed the authorities, and tho ringleaders, who confeseed, were deported. Tho rest of tho villagers were sent to another island.
