At the adjourne<l inquest as to the cause of tlio death of "Snowy" Fill ton, a wellknown boxing trainer, who- was slabbed and kicked in a riot in Market Street on Saturday night, December 14, a witness gave ovidence that a man named Reginald Buttell, who was mixed up in the riot, rushed to a butcher's shop and returned, and shortly after Fulton was stabbed.

After the inquest Buttell was arrested, arid remanded on a charge of murdering Fulton.
