FEILDING.

There are now 18 boys of tlio Feilding District High School taking the agricultural course. In addition to those, 20 students taking the civil service and matriculation courses liav-o joined the agricultural class. The five-acre plot which was very generously given Mr. F. Y. Lethbridge for the use of pupils, has prornl adaptable in every way. A patch of the laud is to bu used for n nursery to grow trees for distribution amongst the schools. The first work to be dono by the boys is tho carrying out of drainage operations. A capital programme of work has been planned for tho year by Sir. 0. A. Banner, the instructor.
