't Mr. Westbrook, a Wanganui .delegate to the Reehabite Conference . now sitting at Blenheim, died this morning. He arrived on Monday evening,. awl was taken ill, suffering from' on internal complaint. He was removed to a private hospital, where an operation was found necessary and took place'last evening. Tho patient died this morning. Mrs. Westbrook has been visiting friends at Bluff, and is now on her way to Blenheim. : FOUND DEAD. Invercargill, February 2G. Isabella M'Waugh, a widow, 71 years of. age, who lived nlone, was found dead in ft cottage at Winton. Deceased formerly resided at Christchurcli- and came to Southland five years ago. She had been in failing health. MOTOR-CAR .OVERTURNED. •' . Wanqanul,. February 2G. ; A motor-car accident occurred outside Wanganui Inst evening. The . car, which contained Roland Garrett. ; jnn.. his mother, and Miss M'Donald, overturned ond the occupants wero thrown out. The two ladies were injured, Miss M'Do'nald more severely, sustaining injuries to her head and shoulders. She had to be taken to the. hospital. "Remember you may meet with nn accident any day.
