Association.) ■. : Nelson, February 25. _ Tho largest and most enthusiastic meeting of poultrymen for many years was held last evening. ■ It was unanimously decided to affiliate with the Now Zealand Championship Association, just registered at Wellington. Mr. E. GtEillichan, secretary of the newassociation,'was present, and explained "the proposed working of the championship body. There wotfld lie championship shoiys at. Welljngtoli, Christchurch, and - four, provincial championships—ond for Otago and (southland combined, ono for Canterbury, one for Wellington, Hawke's Bay, Taranakl, Marlborough/ and Westand. one for Auckland. Tho new association, ' would be in working order next) show- iieason. Three Wellington societies had affiliated. Nelson lad added a fourth, and Picton, Blenheim, and other societies were favourably disposed.
