Mr. W. Farrelly has sold eut his property on the Shannon East Road to Mr. W. Harris, of Featherston.On. the Bowling Green last Saturday a Levin- rink, skipped by Mr. W. Wilson, played tho holders of the Kinniburpth .Feathers, a local rink slipped by Mr. Ivnowles, and defeated them, after a very closo game, by 24 points, to 20. The motion that tho township of Shannon should-l)o formed into a pelf-»overn-ing bodv was proposed and seconded, pro forma, .but, on-a show of hands, no ono present voted for it. Tho meeting, however, served esveral good purposed. .
