They boarded a special train at the Bluff and left direct for Dunodin.. ' Pun'edin, February 24. The .--following members'of the Empire Trade Commission arrived -by special train from ilnvercargill at 10.45 p.m.:— Fiir E.; Vincent, Sii"H. Eider Haggard, Sir A..' Batenmn,' Messrs. W. Lbrinicr, ! T. .Qarnett,, J. Tatlow (representing the Mother Country), and D. Campbell (Australia.'. The Hon/'Mr; Bowring (Newfoundland) has just arrived in Perth and ■ will probablv join' the* Commission in' about ten' days; The Hon. G. Foster (Canada) is coming direct from Vancou-' ve.r, and will join the Commission in the North Island. ' Sir." R.' Solomon ■■ (South Africa) will not attend the sitting in New .Zealand. Messrs. H. M. Gore and -J. B. Gray will'actaa bfficiar reporters in' New Zealand. ■~ = .-.' On arrival.at the Bluff the commissioners received.a Wireless message from'the Hon. H. D., Bell (Minister for Internal Affairs! and also a telegraphic message ' from the Prime Minister; • , . To-morrow morning the Commission will open its sittings at 10.80 o'clock and' will take the evidence of members'of the Chamber of Commerce. ' The commissioners were welcomed here by the Hon. J. R, Sinclair (New Zealand representative on the Commission). They' exprot to concludo tho Duncdin sitting's on Friday. '•'■'■ • ,
