STOCK EXPORTS.
THE FIGURES. TOR JANUARY. , During the month of January 74 horses, 10 head of cattle, 585 sheep, and 43 pigs wero exported t'rom Now Zealand. Of the horses 53 went to Australia, and 21 to the, Pacific islands. The. cattle and pigs were all consigned to the Pacific Islands, and the sheep went as under:—Pacific Islands 507, Australia 38, South America 40. To the above shipments .Wellington's contribution 'was 33' horses..for Australia and 10 rams for South America. Of the horses shipped two -«*ero thoroughbred stallions,' 13' thoroughbred mnres, seven thoroughbred geldings, seven l' ght harness horses, 13 draught stallion 9, 23 draught mares, and three pony mares. •
