" « —: —•. ■ The bi-annual conferenoo of the New Zealand Central District of the Independent Order of Rechabites will beheld next week, when delegates from nearly every part of the .Dominion will be present. In connection with tho conference, divine service has been arranged, when the members 6f tho city and suburban branches, together with the delegates, are to assemblo at tho Queen's Statue, Kent Terrace, and, headed by tho Mission Band, will attend evening service at St. Mark's Church, Sussex Square, on Sunday next/ On' Monday morning, at 9.30 o'clock, at the Rechabito Hall, Manners Street, the Registrar of Friendly Societies and the Government Actuary will meet the representatives and members of the Order, when tho question of tho future contributions will bo discussed. The following will arrive to-dayto attend the conference^— Mr. J. J. Wesney, D.C.R., Invercargill; Mr. R. H. Taylor, D.D.R., Christchurch; Mr. R. M'Creatti, D.5..T.8., Gore; Miss E. M. Smith, Inver-. cargill. .
