Rescuo Event, two men.—Dunedin City (Duncan and-Rws), 22sec., 1; Napier (Eddy and Gilberd), 22 2-ssec., 2. Others: Nelson, 23sec.; Caversham, 27ssc.; Rotorua, 21sec. Caversham and tied with 23 4-ssec., and. had to run off. Reel and Ladder, five men; Merryweather 6hield.—Alexandra, 57sec., 1; Hokitika, 58 4-ssec„ 2. Others: Hillsido Railway, 59 2-ssec.; Dunedin City, 01 3-ssec.; Greymouth, C2sec. In the Consblation Event, Lyttelton (31 4-ssec.), Roslyn. (33 3-ssec.), Hastings (33 ±-ssec.), Ashburton (31 l-ssec.), and Napier (31 l-ssse.) aro leading.
The leading teams for the championship shields are:—Timaru, 32 points; Dunedin, 82 points; Hillsido Railway, 28 points; Dannevirke, 22 points; Alexandra, 20 points. There Is only ono more event— the association event for five men—which counts for tho championship. Tho competitions Trill be finislied on Saturday.,
