Auckland, February 20. Hegge, the victim of a recent wharf accident, died at the hospital this afternoon. , EXPRESSMAN'S DEATH. Palmorslon N., February 20. An inqvfcst on' Thomas Rogers, expressman, who'had his neck broken v through falling from an express on tho river bank yesterday, was held to-day. Just previous .to the accident deceased had had an altercation with the owner of the property on which he was driving as to his right to be there. It was after he left the owner of the property, however, that, by some, means, he fell from the express. The jury returned a verdict of accidental death, no blame being attachable to any one. ACCIDENT AT UPPER HUTT. A married man named —. Weston, 31 years of age, a resident of Upper Hutt, whilst felling trees slipped and Droke his right leg and left arm. He was brought in to tho Wellington Hospital by the 6.89 o'clock train lost' evening. FALL FROM SCAFFOLD: John Dansby, a married man, of 29 years, and a painter by trade, residing in Hugh Street (off Adelaide Road), Newtown, was admitted to the p'sfclic hospital yesterday.
